SoapNet is reporting that Jonathon Jackson will begin taping on 10/1.

From the official statement:

"Greg Vaughn has decided to vacate the role to explore new opportunities. We thank him for his years engaging our audience and dedication to the show and network. The cast and crew wish him well in all his future endeavors."

Rumor's suggest that Jonathon Jackson signed only a 6 month contract.

Greg Vaughan Weekend Accident

"Good morning!! My weekend was full of surprises! I got a viral infection, and spent 2 days in bed, but due to dehydration, and other side effects, I blacked out and fell in the shower. My son, said Momma, papa fell, papa fell! Next I remember was coming to with 911 on the phone, and an Ambulance at my door! My son is a true HERO! I'm much better this morning waking up with my family! :) :)"

Is Greg Vaughn Out as Lucky????

We've all heard the rumors that Greg Vaughn is leaving the role as Lucky Spenser, and the character may even be killed off. Greg Vaughn has been auditioning for several roles including a role on Days Of Our Lives but no announcements have been made. But with Lucky potentially leaving, does that open the doors for Liason fans??? I personally would like to see Matt with Liz but that is just me. AS usual I'll keep you posted.

Fan Club President Wants You...

Greg Vaughn (Lucky) and Ric Hearst's (Ric) fan club president is urging fans to call the networks comment line.

Debby O'Connor issued the following statement:

The message boards have been buzzing and my email has been inundated since late last week's article about both Rick and Greg possibly being put on recurring status or released from General Hospital. All I can say to you is that if you are unhappy with anything going on, story line or otherwise, you should make your voices heard. And there is no time like the present.

I encourage you to call the comment line and/or write to the executives in charge of the show, as well as to the magazines. Please keep your comments positive and to the point, supporting whom you choose but absolutely not writing negative, demeaning comments about anyone you don't. That serves no purpose, and is not what either Rick or Greg would want.

According to Daytime Confidential the contract status' and jobs may be on the line for Megan Ward (Kate), Rebecca Herbst (Liz), Greg Vaughn (Lucky), Leslie Charleson (Monica), and Ric Hearst (Ric). Megan Ward is said to be being let go. Rebecca Herbst may also be going recurring. Nathan Parsons (Ethan) is said to of gotten a long term contract.

I've read that the contract actors being let go is Ric Hearst, Claire Coffee, and Megan Ward. Greg Vaughn, Rebecca Herbst, and Lisa Lo Cicero will be recurring.

My Sam McCall, Kelly Monaco fans, I'm hearing she is safe. She had to promise to sign for another year in order to get time off for PeepShow.
