"We have actually been in contact with Vanessa [Marcil], and there is interest on both parts in seeing Brenda return...Just look at our canvas for Brenda to walk in right now: You've got Sonny reeling,you've got Jax about to be blown apart with Carly when she finds out about what he's been doing. There are all sorts of slots into which Brenda could insert herself – forgive the bad metaphor – and be very, very interesting."
Laura:
"If you look at the canvas, Laura's entire family is in crisis. Lulu? Hugely so. Nikolas and Lucky are at each other's throats; Luke is trying to deal with all of his kids. It occurs to me that there has never been a time when Laura was more needed by her family."
"Nothing is definite yet. Of course, we'd always love to have them back, but at this point, it's still a work in progress. We definitely want them, so stay tuned for 2010."
