Spoilers 1/7
Just to let you know some of these spoilers/rumors I'd take with a grain of salt some of them seem off so I'm just throwing them out there.
L&L2/JaSam... Sam will be conflicted between Jason and Lucky but eventually chooses Lucky. Lucky goes to Liz who is basically waiting with open arms. Rumors indicate that Jason's feelings for Sam arose first. The "Insider" says that you will notice Jason and Sam brush up against eachother with that 'look' in their eyes. I'm hearing even more rumors that Rebecca Hearst could end up leaving the show. Lucky and Liz almost kiss, Sam sees them almost kissing and goes to Jason. JaSam is said to not even go to romantic before March. Lucky and Liz get back together which in turn brings Jason and Sam together as they look in from the outside. More rumors say that Liz will die and JaSam will fight for custody but I think thats getting ahead of ourselves. Lucky is at the gala, Liz is there also she might just be working at the hospital.
Slaudia/Skate... Sonny and Claudia share a night of passion. Kate knows Claudia is behind Michael's shooting and is ready to tell Sonny. Kate does spill Olivia's secret. Sonny surprisingly worries for his wife. I'm hearing an interesting rumor that when Sonny finds out it was Claudia, Claudia is pregnant and you know Sonny wouldn't kill a pregnant women especially when the baby could be his.
Sason... Sonny believes that Jason has agreed to give him up to save Spinelli. Alexis and Sonny have a confrontation where she basically tells him she's tired of the mob violence and will put him in jail.
Spixie.... Spinelli and Maxie have a falling out.
Matt... Matt has an encounter with Rebecca.
CarJax... Carly and Jax are still in love but have been unable to work things out. Olivia attends the gala with Jax. Diane suggests to Alexis that they help Jax and Carly to reconcile.
Nikadine... Nadine feels the pressure to sign over the patent. Alexis sets up a Senate hearing so that Nadine can testify against Equinox Nikolas has his hands full building her self confidence.
Jolu... Lulu agrees to attend to honor her cousin but Johnny forgoes the festivities.The Quartermaines also are in attendance. Luke and Johnny are off getting Johnny's name cleared. Lulu is one of the first to fall sick. Maxie and Lulu attend the benefit together. Maxie loses it with Matt over Lulu's illness and things heat up between the two. Lulu and Johhny have a falling out before hand and then all hell breaks loose, causing Johnny to go find Lulu.
Rebecca... After Nikolas gets over his initial shock of seeing Rebecca, Rebecca's lack of interest in Nikolas comes into play (pure comedy). He gives it back to her as good as he gets it. She will get a little play time with other male characters, but she is for Nikolas.

Spoilers 1/6
NS3... Soaps.com went right to ABC to find out if that rumor that NS3 wasn't going to happen. "We haven't made a decision yet either way, so there's nothing to report," the ABC representative told Soaps.com.
Nikadine... Pure speculation on my part but I'm sure that Nikadine's equinox s/l will be coincide with the hospital crisis as well as the MC Crisis. Equinox was behind Jerry's MC heist and was the company that funded Ian who gave him the drugs that he used to poison Nik. This story is to tie all of that together. Rebecca and Nik will interact and dance at the benefit, much to Nadine's dislike. Rebecca will be tested with a lot of people but she will quickly be moving towards Nik. Rumors say GH is about to do a Mary on Nadine. She'll be inflicted with the same crazy gene as her sister. Nik remembers Emily's birthday and visits her grave. Nik tells Alexis he still loves Emily.
Scrubs... Patrick tries to make Robin get treatment for PPD.
Sason... Jason is asked to betray Sonny to get Spin out of jail. Sonny asks Jason if he's working for the feds. Sonny gets a warning from Carly.
Skate... Kate starts thinking that Claudia and Jerry were partners. Rumors say Kate will be the one to tell Sonny he fathered a child with Olivia. There are still the other Rumors out there that Dante is coming and Michael will be recast and Sorased.
Liason... Hearing Liason will not be getting back together for the New Year, the writer's are adament on change, new couples and new story lines.

CarJax... Carly and Jax decide to try again and put a hold on the divorce. Rumor say that Carly finally chooses Jax over Sonny during the hospital crisis. When Carly cancels plans with Jax he invites Olivia to go for a dip in the MC pool.
Claudia... Claudia will tell Johnny about the Jerry's DVD game.

January Actors Birthdays
Lets Wish Them A Happy Birthday
Ron Hale's (Mike Corbin) birthday was on January 2.
Rick Hearst's (Ric Lansing) birthday is on January 4 where he will be 44 this year.
Jane Elliot's (Tracy Quartermaine-Spencer) birthday is on January 17 where she will turn 62 this year.
Rumors suggest that Nazanin Boniadi has been let go
Rumors are now suggesting that Nazanin Boniadi (Leyla) has been let go.
Decision on Dante Could Come by Months End
According to SoapCentral the decision on Dante could come at the months end. During the summer their was speculation that Tom Pelphrey would be joining the cast as Dante, it had seemed like a done deal until he issued a statement that he wanted to try new things other than Daytime. Then a few months Later David Lago's name was thrown around to take on the role of Dante. Their sources say the decision will come at the end of the month which could also include not casting the role at all at this time.

Spixie.... Lots of rumors are around today about Spixie during a love montage and Spixie sex but i wouldn't quite hold your breath to it. Maxie admits she has real feelings for Spinelli but feels she doesn't deserve him.
Claudia... Claudia finds Jerry's last DVD but Sonny is hot on her trail. She later distracts Sonny through seduction and hides it when he isn't looking. Ric tells Claudia that Anthony has set Johnny up so he'll come back to the family for help. Ric tells Claudia to see if he can trust her, he tells her not to tell Johnny. She later visits Johnny where she encourages him to come back. When Carly goes to Sonny's she sees Claudia watching a DVD, Carly tells Claudia she's going to get Sonny to kick her out for good. Claudia learns Sonny is provoking war by moving shipmens through Jason's territory.
L&L2/JaSam... Liz implies to Lucky that Jason may have feelings for Sam. She tells him that she never asked Jason about his feelings for Sam after they ended because she was afraid of the answer. Lucky tells Liz that he thinks Sam is seeking Jason out behind his back. Liz apologizes for running to Jason during their marriage. She confesses to deliberately sabotaging Jason's relationship with Sam because she was angry at Lucky and jealous of Jasam while she was stuck being alone and pregnant. The LL2 kiss is on January 19th. Sam walks in on them and then leaves. Liz tells Lucky to go after her and Lucky says that he is right where he wants to be. Lucky then recalls what led up to LL2 kissing.Leyla... Rumors suggest that Leyla will die during the crisis.
Dante... Kate spills the secret about Dante but not to save Sonny.
The Drug Caper... Way back when when Sam was receiving pain medication it was stated that the medication just wasn't working. Now there are rumors saying that there is more wrong with the medication other than it not working, they have harmful effects.
The Benefit... What is GH without an explosion. Looks like there will be some explosion at the benefit dinner which will include most of the cast being involved in. Sounds like to me most of these people will get hurt and when they try to treat them with medication they will learn that the medication has been tampered with and ends with deadly results. Jason and Sam will be teaming up to stop what is happening. This time though the Doctors and Nurses are the real heroes. Robin will be making things worse with her PPD she will be giving out bad medication without properly checking them. New Doctor Rebecca is rumored to be a hero as well figuring out the problem. Other heroes include Patrick and Matt.
Jolu... Luke will help Johnny escape from his assault charges. Both Lulu and Tracy are at the hospital during the benefit dinner dateless, while Luke and Johnny look for a way in. Lulu is forced to choose between two brothers, and instead she chooses herself.
PPD... As I said earlier look for Robin to cause most of the confusion with medication when she doens't check the medication properly. Carly will also take notice to Robin's unfocused behavior, and usually uncaring to the victims.
Nikadine... I actually have a question for you, wasn't the Equinox corporation the ones that manufactured Jerry's suitcase the explodes upon the wrong code entry. Interesting if thats the case. Nadine will be fully against using Raylene's Patent for war. Looks like Nadine comes from one hell of a family. Her first love was killed in Iraq her Dad died due to medical negligence and her sister is in a coma for killing patients at GH and now looks like Raylene was involved in this. Rebecca helps save Nadine with Nik's help at the benefit.
Sason... Sonny is aware that Jason will have to choose either him or Spinelli.

Will the New Year Bring Vanessa Marcil?
Get ready for round 1,112,441 of rumors stating that Vanessa Marcil(Brenda) will return. But 2009 might actually be the year. During a recent interview with Soap Opera Weekly she tells the magazine "We’re trying to make it work again,” and later says “We were actually, finally, truly in talks with Bob Guza, who I love, and we were trying to fit it in this past year, but it didn’t work out, so maybe in ’09 we’ll find a way. It’s definitely in the cards at some point." Also in the interview Vanessa reveals how much she loves the show and has always been open to coming back but it wasn't in the cards for the beloved Brenda Barett until recently.

Spixie... Spinelli finds out his computer was hacked and later meets Winifred. Spinelli gets a deal offered to him while he is in jail . Spinelli is arrested for treason and hacking. Winifred tells Maxie to back off. Maxie will go to extremes to protect Spinelli. She tries to seduce Spinelli after she can't get him to see what Winifred is doing. Spinelli catches on and the two argue. Winifred is a federal agent who wants to get access to Sonny from Spinelli. Rumors say Winifred kisses Spinelli.
Sason... Jason sets up bombs and ambushes to warn Sonny off his territory. Jason gets another offer from Rayner. Sonny begins passing his shipments through Jason's territory. Claudia pushes Sonny to eliminate Jason. Spinelli is arrested for Treason, the feds promise to let Spinelli go if Jason cooperates and gets information on Anthony and Sonny. Sonny tells Jason he betrayed him.
LuSam... Things get tense between Lucky and Sam. Lucky is furious when Sam turns up at the pcpd ready to fight for Spinelli in Jason's absence. Sam witnesses something between Lucky and Liz. Lucky confides his troubles with Sam to Liz.
Skate... Sonny walks in on a intimate moment between Kate and Jax. Kate learns of Claudia's involvement in the shooting but doesn't do what is expected.
Scrubs... Robin isn't ready to be intimate with Patrick. Robin turns him down, then Patrick leaves upset but calms down after a talk with Matt. The only person Robin confides in about the possibility of her Illness is with Jason where she asks about when Carly had PPD. During the crisis Carly notices that she is unfocused. Patrick discovers that some drugs that have been administered seem to have harmful effects. Patrick is going to be getting a lot of sympathy and worry because he's stretching himself thin and thinking he can do everything. Matt tries to take over his cases and offers help but Patrick thinks he has it all covered. Carly won't be the only one who talks to him about Robin. Carly is at the fundraiser benefit because it is for Michael.
Nadine... Nadine learns that Aunt Raylene may have been involved in arms dealings. She refuses to deal with anything to do with war. Her Aunt Raylene was peaceful and loving. Nadine confesses to Nik that the man she loved was killed in Iraq. Nik and Nadine take on the feds in Washington. Nik and Nadine disagree on what Nadine should do with the Equinox corp.

Ric tells Johnny he better play his game or pay. Look for Ric to do the same thing to Johnny as he did to Logan. Luke gets the charges dropped but later Luke receives a message from Ric to not cross Anthony. Johnny learns about the DVD's from Claudia and Lulu senses that Johnny is keeping something from her.

Kelly's... Bobbie talks to Luke about rebuilding Kellys.
