GH Will Do PSA

According to Soap Opera Digest, GH will do a public service announcement for Post Partum Depression.

"Millions of women's lives can be saved by ending the fear and isolation of sufferers and offering access to treatment resources," said Birdie Gunyon Meyer, RN, MA, president, PSI in a statement. "We are grateful to ABC Daytime following up with a public service announcement and helping to raise awareness of what is truly the most common complication of childbirth."

Kimberly McCullough's PSA will air Thursday, April 16th.

I like the looks of the new GH it does kind of look like a combination of Mercy, GH, and NS though.

Slaudia... Sonny receives a DVD in the mail. Someone tampers with the evidence before Sonny sees it. Jerry tells Claudia she may of escaped this time, but she'll never know when the next DVD will drop.

The Hospital... GH should be opening next week.

Jerry... Sebastian Roche doesn't get killed off, Jerry comes to town to ensure that Claudia doesn't get away with murder. Jerry targets Ric and Claudia. Jerry tells Claudia her secret is safe for now. Jerry will only be on for a handful of episodes. Jerry tells Ric and Claudia he is calling the shots.

Helena... Helena makes her grand appearance on the monitors after she cuts the power to GH.

Jolu... Johnny returns to the mob to protect Claudia.

CarJax... Jax leaves Jerry with a warning. Carly shatters Jax's happiness.

GH Spent 3 Million to Go Hi-Def for Sweeps?

According to Broadcast and Cable GH is spening 3 million to go Hi-Def in time for Sweeps. Heres what they have to say:

"General Hospital, which has aired more than 11,500 episodes in its 46 years, is the second ABC Daytime show to go HD after talker The View, which made the move in September 2006. ABC has spent $3 million upgrading GH's Los Angeles studio and control room to HD, which included renting a temporary control room setup from January to March to keep the show in production while its permanent home was retrofitted.

Besides going to higher resolution, the GH set also has a new look, part of a storyline that has the hospital reopening after an explosion. ABC was able to repurpose set components from the primetime spinoff General Hospital: Night Shift, which ran for two seasons on Disney-ABC cable network SOAPnet. The new set, which has 14 different pieces, “will allow the realism of General Hospital to grow bigger than it's ever been,” says Brian Frons, president of daytime for the Disney-ABC Television Group."

Michael... Jason informs Ric in front of Sonny that he is the prime suspect in Michael's shooting. Ric than has no choice but to tell Sonny that Devlin was hired by Claudia.

CarJax... Rumors say "Carly's baby won't make it. She is the person who gets caught in the violence this time it is a hit ordered by Sonny and Jason is sent to do it. You will see a parallel story of Carly losing her baby while Claudia is getting news that she is pregnant. Carly goes into a short coma and when she wakes up, expect her to lose it. Sonny and Jason will feel exactly like Claudia after that, and they realize that killing Claudia would make them hypocrites." Jax is rumored to go to the dark side. Carly takes a pregnancy test with Jason there with her.

Rebecca... Rumors say Rebecca and Lucky hit the sheets. Helena sent Rebecca to town to bring the Cassadine out in Nik. Alexis vows to protect Nik. According to TC he has stated that Helena will be around for awhile.

Spixie... Rumors say that Maxie doesn't come out on top, Winnifred plans her next move, and Spinelli is out to prove himself.

Scrubs... Rumors say that after Robin crashes her car with baby Emma inside, she wil decide to go away for treatment.

Jolu... Lulu cries in Ethan's arms. Luke throws Johnny out of the haunted star after he had too much to drink.

Scrubs... Robin tells Kelly about the 'perfect' family in the park. Patrick accuses Robin of cheating in Puplic. Patrick and Robin take steps to work their problems out. Robin wants to stop taking her meds but her therapist warns her against it. Robin throws her meds away.

Ethan... Tracy becomes suspicious that Ethan is Luke's son after finding a picture of Ethan's of Robert and Luke.

Slaudia... Carly catches Claudia visiting Michael. Carly tells Claudia she isn't welcome there right in front of Sonny. Claudia spins the truth confessing how she feels about Michael. It's enough to keep Sonny off her case, after Carly leaves its all about the sex. Ric shows up and is ready to tell Sonny with the DVD. Sarah Brown Says "There's going to be fireworks during sweeps - that's all I can say!" Claudia and Olivia clash, Claudia doesn't like the closeness between her husband and Olivia and tells her to back off. Claudia threatens Olivia. Olivia knows Claudia is trying to get pregnant. Ric tells Sonny and Jason that Claudia is responsible. He tries to play the DVD for his brother, but what happened to it? Claudia seduces Sonny to try to conceive. Jerry lets Ric and Claudia know that he is in charge.

CarJax... Jerry calls Jax but Carly answers, Jerry assumes that Jax has told her about the contents of the DVD. Jerry mistakenly clues Carly in about a secret that Jax is hiding from her. Carly learns that if she were to have a baby she could have a stroke.

Spixie... Spinelli sees Johnny and Maxie kiss.

Rebecca... Nik is there for Rebecca after her biopsy and treats her to a special night.

Jolu... Johnny and Lulu's relationship ends when Johnny admits about being attracted to Maxie. Lulu gets Matt to be Maxie's escort. Maxie than comes up with idea to substitute Matt for Ethan. Lulu doesn't want Ethan to go so she tells Maxie they already have a date. Kate chooses Matt to be Maxie's escort. Maxie is mad and Lulu feels like she's won. Ethan asks about their date. JoMax... Rumors say Johnny and Maxie become a couple. Rumors say Johnny and Maxie hit the sheets. Rumors say Johnny tells Sonny he hired Ian as payback for sonny locking him up.
