Kelly Monaco RUMORS
Heres some things I found off DD. Watch out some get nasty..
"Looks like one diva's airtime demand and character redemption was as empty a promise as the supposed coupling that's being promoted currently. Apparently, according to someone backstage, when she found out that there would be no SBu and Jason pairing in the cards, it was all a dream and rewritten, she stormed off set, but not before a screaming match broke out. Turns out she got the airtime, just not the story she wanted. So, now there is a casting call for the character of Samantha McCall and wardrobe for the little diva that wouldn't hasn't been fitted for her character in two days.......
This is only one of the big shakeups at Prospect. Looks like the higher ups are taking notes and taking names. "

Kelly Monaco Rumor
Remember this is just a rumor as of right now nothing has been confirmed. It was posted by an anonymous source at DD so we all know how that goes.
"Kelly Monaco and her long time boyfriend Michael Gonzalez are set to tie the knot finally next week in Aspen Co. I was told they are welcoming a new addition to the family and both sets of parents convinced them to "just do it.""

"The RumorMill"
The Rumormill is wagging this is a scoop I got off DD as usual take everything you get from that board with a grain of salt...but I thought these were some interesting tidbits:
- No one at Prospect is safe aside from a select few who are currently driving stories and/or are considered "the faces of the show"
- There will be some surprises in terms of cast members who will be departing/written off in the next 6 months. And it's not just actors who have contracts expiring. Most will likely be characters not connected to the 3 main characters on the show and there will be some surprises.
- They are looking to bring in more "younger" cast members as they feel that's what the audience they are targeting is most interested in seeing and they are less costly
- The show is willing to pay top dollar for those actors/characters they consider the heart of the show now but the remainder are considered expendable.
Insider is JC re-signed?
Jason Cook has resigned short term
He was only a year contract to start?
As I stated expect if contracts get signed to be shorter term and primarily for storyline purposes. I believe and I am not 100 percent certain he was signed on for 3 months.
So his contract ended in May and 3 months sounds like to finish the story
To partake in a story. And it could be if they have another storyline planned, he could be resigned again.
Maybe I should be more articulate. In terms of casting and storylines, the direction of the show is changing. The direction is to keep a core set of key characters around and bring on characters for short term contracts to supplement stories as needed. Jason Cook could be extended for another 3 months or a year if a storyline get's outlined and accepted he could be a part of.
In terms of ratings, the show seems pleased that they have stabilized the demos and are hoping for stable ratings over the summer.
Brian Frons has no issues with Bob Guza to my knowledge.
Insider any info on why the show went with LLC over MW?
Megan Ward was only planned to be on the show for a short time originally. The show was pleased with her and resigned her for another year. I am not sure how Lisa play into all this other than Megan's character no longer fit into the story outline in place and Lisa's did. And I honestly can't say how long Lisa will be on the show. They like her but have not shown an interest in placing her under contract.
Did BA request Spixie romance for him to re-sign?
Bradford has not re-signed yet but is expected to. I am not aware of any specific requests made from him to stay on.
Do you know what's going on with GV's status?
I am not aware of any current change in his status but as I said initially there will be some characters gone over the next 6 months and it's not just actors who have contracts up. I don't want to imply Greg is one of those but IMO anyone who is no longer considered a key character has the potential to me off contract.

I am sorry I don't think I do. Her contract is up at the end of July and she has not re-signed at this point but I would expect her to, but with the potential cast changes upcoming I am not sure what the duration of her or any upcoming contracts will be. Aside from who the show considers to be key characters, there seems to be no interest in signing on any actor long term.
Response from poster: Don't worry about her. Becky re-signed months ago for a long term contract. That is why nobody talks about it. It is already a done deal.

Rumor Or Spoiler You Decide
I'm hearing that in the next couple of weeks there could be quite the s/l developing. Lucky for me I'll prob be away when this happens but anyways.
Jason and Sam are said to have a lengthy discussion where Jason will be a wreck. He's dealing with the happiness of Michael being back as well as the mixed feelings about Michael's recovery. Jason will confide in Sam about the pain he deals with being away from the only son he has. But after seeing how Michael is he knows it was the right choice. Sam listens to Jason and she encourages him to claim the only son he has. Every child should get to know his father right? Sam leaves and she wants Jason to have a relationship with his son so she decides to go talk to Liz. While Sam is doing this there is someone lurking in the shadows and listens in on Sam and Liz's conversation. Somewhere else another mother is being watched and there is special attention taken on her children. Someone has a photo of Jake and Liz but who?
Jason and Liz has a heart to heart conversation but does Lucky hear?
Liz goes to get the boys at Daycare but who is that holding Jake?

Weekend Rumor That Is Probably False
Rumors:
- Quote from 'insider' "Patrick upset with Robin's actions will have a affair with Liz. Robin will then turn to Matt for comfort. As a result of a tender night of sex with no protection, Robin gives Matt the HIV virus. Maxie feels sorry for Matt and the two of them have a nice romance until Matt dies. This will be like Robin and Stone, only with Matt and Maxie. It will be a heartbreaking family storyline between Patrick/Robin/Matt/Maxie. And Noah will return for scenes with his boys.This is what Guza wants to do and has if opted for this summer. Frons and Guza are in disagreement and is subject to the fact that Guza has to resign his contract.

Watch out Liason, JaSam rumors are gaining steam!
More and More rumors are coming up about a reunion between Jason and Sam. Liason fans can allegely thank Brian Frons for the new direction. Seems they are doing anything they can possibly do to bring up ratings. This would mean the end for Jason and Liz. Many rumors pointed that Jason was never meant to be in Jake's life and others suggest that Liz maybe involved with either Dante or Matt. I happen to be a JaSam fan and Jump for joy at the thought of this but you know the drill. If you don't like it write!

Vanessa Marcil- Rumor has it she signed to come back for six weeks at the end of October. VM will be back during November sweeps for Scrubs wedding. It's hush hush right now to maximize publicity. Its supposedly the talk around the studio. As usual I'll keep you posted.

Hot Rumors of the Day
Robert is returning to GH for Robin and Patrick's wedding
Wedding is the last week in October and ends with Robin going into labor. Baby is born the first week of November.
Jason is getting shot again while trying to save Sonny. He "dies" and from what I was told he will not show up alive again until sweeps.
Kate and Sonny will not be getting hitched anytime soon. Kate and Jax both learn about the limo sex at the wedding. Sonny gets left at the alter.
There is something coming up for Scrubs in the next month that has to do with Patrick's mother. There may be a paternity question involved for Patrick that will cause him to reevaluate his life.

Just In Spoilers! Truth or Fan Fic
TPTB were pleasantly suprised by the growing positive reactions Claire Coffee's Nadine. Although her character's backstory was tied with Night Shift's Jolene, the show will begin to lay the groundwork to connect Nadine with the Karpov's organization. It is the hope that connecting with another mob family that she will have equal footing with Claudia during the triangle between them and Nikolas.
More hints will be dropped about Trevor's real relationship with Johnny and Johnny's mother.
Crimson's first issue will published and don't be shocked if a petite brunette is on the cover.
Skate wedding is a go but Karpov wants revenge on Sonny and decides that gunfire should disrupt the wedding. Guza In At Days
Reliable sources are reporting that General Hospital head writer Robert Guza Jr. will take over the same position at Days Of Our Lives. The vacancy at Days was created when Dena Higley quit the show last week. This move will reunite Guza with NBC as he was previously the head writer of Sunset Beach, expect an official announcement by August 5th. There are also whispers that Maurice Bernard who plays the heavily popular mob boss Sonny Corinthos on General Hospital will make the jump to Days with his head writer. I'll Keep you posted on whether this is true or not.

Go get him, Ed! That silver spoon has had its day and needs to be retired like John McCain. Also, an industry insider reveals NBC and Sony will have to intervene soon because “Days’ [sliding] ratings are scaring several higher-ups.” Come on, people — why is getting this show back on track so damn hard? Regardless of Higley’s new WGA case, I think the suspected scabber is due for a timeout. Bring in Smith or Griffith, and LET THEM WRITE THE SHOW! Thank Goddard these executives are not in charge of something important like curing cancer or world peace because we’d all be dead. I could fix this soap in my sleep… and I’d do it for free.

Crazy Rumors of the Day!
Ok so these could be true but right now they are just rumors... Here are what I have for you today...
Matt is Sam's brother.
In November the Russian mob will kidnap Scrub's baby because Dr. Matt is Patrick's brother as well as a FBI agent and they would kidnap the baby as payback against Matt investigating them.
FH and RS could be on a few NS2 Episodes.
